Offered for sale is an exceptional Victorian Eastlake cherry wood carved wall or dresser mirror.
Originally on a dresser, the attachment boards are still in place, easily removed.
Taken off, the mirror could definitely be hung on the wall as an accent piece, which was our plan, but the house has filled up too much.
The overall width at the bottom is currently 45 inches but could be easily cut to 39 inches if space dictated.
There are hand carved details all over the frame and also some burled panels.
The original mirror tilt hardware is intact.
Mirror frame size is 27.5 x 38.5.
The actual mirror is in excellent condition, is beveled, and the reveal is 23 x 33 inches.
Parts of the wood have already been stripped and look very nice. There is only one coat or the original varnish on the piece, which should come off very easily without needing to resort to stripper. Please email me about this.
The crown and other parts at the top of the mirror frame are just sitting there and will need to be attached more securely. Screws are included where they were present. Some details were held on with cut square nails.
Willing to ship, but buyer must make arrangements for crating and shipping.
