Sodick Wire EDM model A500L with extremely low hours, fully tooled, new wire guides, tension brake, recently rebuilt pumps, with spares, phase convertor, and voltage adjusting transformer
South Bend plunge EDM with spare power supply, fully tooled (yes, I know it oughta be in a museum, but it just runs sooo good and never needs maintenance except oiling)
Southwestern Industries (Prototrak) Sport 3 axis cnc mill with low hours, spare motor (needing bushings), power drawbar, and control upgraded to flatscreen monitor
Large Millport knee mill retrofitted with 2 hp Bridgeport head and with 3 axis Prototrak control upgraded to flatscreen monitor, power drawbar, low hours machine bought out of the engineering prototype toolroom at Whirlpool
2 hp Bridgeport Series I knee mill with Anilam 2 axis cnc control retrofitted, very good condition with power drawbar
2 hp Bridgeport Series I knee mill with DRO and enclosure for rough milling/squaring, set up with two vises for ultra fast and accurate squaring
2 hp Bridgeport Series I knee mill with Newall DRO, power drawbar, Rotary table (yeah, I know, another museum item, but in the real world doing repairs, etc, it does come in handy on occasion)
Clausing 13x36 manual lathe with Newall DRO in very good cindition
Okamoto 12 x 24 hydraulic automatic surface grinder with electro-magnetic chuck, rebuilt main control pc board, and a brand new spare control pc board. Very good condition and extremely low hours. I watched this sitting in a warehouse for about 12 years
before I bought it, figuring it needed a complete re-scraping. In the end all it needed was paint.
Mitsui 6x12 ballway grinder in exceptional condition with Walker permanent magnet chuck
Mitsui 8x20 ballway grinder in exceptional condition with Walker permanent magnet chuck
Gardner 6x18 rollerway grinder in great condition with compound sine permanent magnet Walker chuck. This grinder has crossed roller ways on both axes and I would put it up against a Mitsui any day for accuracy.
Deckel SOE floor mounted single lip cutter grinder modified to make 3 flute cutters, with built in optical comparator. This is really a Cadillac and if it doesn't sell, I might just put it in the living room
Miller Synchrowave 500 Tig welder, set up with dual air cooled torches, and large dropping resistor for finer welding. Water cooler included as is an excellent assortment of rod and spare tank. Low hours and excellent condition
Microtron micro tig welder 110 vac input, set up in a frame that can be easily transported on site. Includes spare tank and assortment of welding rod that you almost can't see. If you want to put a .015 dot on the corner of something, this is your welder!
3 dual monitor computer stations, one used for office, and the other two for cad/cam
Various and sundry tooling with names like Newall, Harig, Herman Schmidt, etc. I have stuff here that they never gave you to work with in other shops.
And lots of additional items that I won't take time to list here.
Almost everything inside the building is included and so is the building if you are interested. The entire lot is priced according to the value of the equipment, inventory, and furnishings. There is nothing added for my tranporting it all here, fixing it, installing it, maintaining it. Nor am I adding anything in for business contacts, history, organization, customer list, leads list, or anything else of a "goodwill" nature, although all of that is available to the buyer.
This is a profitable going concern that is being offered. We are a design and build shop that has done business in the areas of plastic injection molds, jigs and fixtures, and small special machines. We are NOT a production shop. All that you, as the buyer, have to do is walk in the door, turn the lights on, and go to work. EVERYTHING is in place to be a success. All it takes is money, ambition, and ability.
In addition, I will stay on for a specified amount of time to ease the transition. I intend to work for a few more years, although part time. Fish, toys, travel and grandchildren are calling.
Please e-mail for more information as I am sure there is something that I have forgotten, oh yeah like the optical comparator with new geometical digital readout and beaucoup screens.
