I purchased it new and used it two years ago for the winter season. I had to get a new furnace, so I had a home humidifier installed with it and have not needed this unit. I also like that this has a little reservoir on the top to add any sents you prefer.
You can see in the pictures that there is a very thin layer of calcium on the cone piece.. other than that, the unit works great.. I just tested it before listing and everything works as it should.
