ABOUT OUR STORE:
Cordogan’s Pianoland in west-suburban Geneva stocks new & used, acoustic & digital pianos in our 30,000 sq ft facility. We also tune, move, appraise, restore, and rent pianos, which gives us a unique and balanced perspective when discussing your options—because we are actively and equally in the business of all of them. We also have a wonderful, experienced team – each with 30+ years in the piano industry – and we know pianos like no one else. We’re not fancy (as seen by our very old – but helpful – website at www.chicagopianos.com) and we’re quite literally in the middle of a cornfield, but:
...we have one of the largest piano inventories in the Midwest
...our used pianos are thoroughly and professionally restored
...our new piano prices are guaranteed to be the lowest
...and our sales tax is among the lowest in the region
USED ACOUSTIC PIANOS:
Used piano buyers can expect one of the deepest and most carefully restored selections in the Midwest, including: Kawai, Yamaha, Steinway, Estonia, Shigeru Kawai, Mason & Hamlin, Schimmel, Petrof, Boston, Knabe, Baldwin, Charles Walter, Bechstein, Blüthner and others. Our prices are competitive nationwide, and a visit to our showroom quickly shows that we are far from the typical shopping-center piano store.
NEW ACOUSTIC PIANOS:
New acoustic piano buyers can explore many leading brands including Kawai, Shigeru Kawai, Estonia, Knabe, and others—available in a wide variety of finishes, styles, and sizes. Importantly, you can compare new pianos directly to used ones, which is often the most helpful way to determine true value. Cordogan’s is the only authorized dealer in Illinois for the full product lines from Kawai, Shigeru Kawai, and Estonia pianos.
DIGITAL & HYBRID PIANOS:
If you’re searching for a digital or hybrid piano, Cordogan’s is the only dealer in Illinois for the entire line of Roland digital pianos, including RP, HP, LX, and GP series. We’re also the only dealer in Northern Illinois for Kawai’s full line of digital and hybrid models. Casio & Celviano models and used digital pianos are also on hand, rounding out dozens of models – all in one location. All digital piano pricing is at least as low as the internet, with better service, better advice—and the ability to actually play the instrument before you buy.
WHO WE ARE:
Cordogan’s is proud of our 76-year history and our unique store. Our family gives school tours, welcomes parents to bring their kids – and yes, even their dog (we’re not kidding – we love dogs!). From $699 digital pianos to $250,000 concert grands – and everything in between –we truly have something for everyone.

IMPORTANT NOTE OF CAUTION — PLEASE READ
There are increasing problems with Facebook & Craigslist scams and deceptive ads, so even experienced buyers should read this carefully.
On Facebook, fake sellers often appear to be legitimate accounts that were hacked, making scams harder to detect. Fake Craigslist ads are even more difficult due to complete poster anonymity—many are posted by dealers in disguise, pretending to be private sellers. Most importantly: many scam ads are not designed to take money immediately. Their goal is to collect personal information—cell phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses—for identity theft or harassment, often combined with social media data that exposes far more than people realize.
