Additionally, basic upkeep of all vehicles maintenance such as oil changes, inspection of all hoses and belts, topped off all fluids as needed, inspect tire condition and consult with customer if needed, change air filters, change out batteries and inform the customer of any special deals we may have. When needed I did install windshield wipers, change starters, radiators, fuel pumps, alternators, thermostats, oil pan gaskets, transmission pan gasket and filter as well as motor mounts.
ACC Climate Control: Elkhart, In.
I installed A/C units in RVS at various accounts in Elkhart. Installed the evaps, condensers, wired the boards, plumbed the lines and hung the accumulator bottles. I did single, double, and triple systems. I performed the basic mounts TM-16 and TM-21. I'm experienced in vacing, recovering, and recharging the system.

Diesel Mechanic, duties performed were removal and installation of Steer, Drive, and Tag axles, Gearboxes, Crank seals and rear, Starters, E.G.R. coolers and valves, Turbos, Wheel seals, Brakes, Clutches, Fuel pumps, Power steering pumps, Air dryers, and 83 and 73 point service inspections. As well as Kingpins, Water pumps, DD3s, Slack adjusters, Exhaust [ Diesel particulate filters, D.O.C., and Resonators ]. I furthermore was responsible for the air tests of all units which involved the auxiliary tank, wet supply tank, primary and secondary tanks, park brake tank, and high rise. I was also assigned to set right height. Daily requirements included leak down tests, installation of shocks, radius arms, airbags, leveling valves and links. As well as changing numerous faulty valves throughout the bus. Installing new brake light switches, as well as p.s.i.100, 85, and 65, r-12s, e-10s, one steps, check and double check valves. Removing and putting on up to 300 pound tires daily also torqued tires down to 500 pounds. Furthermore I carried out quality control inspections when every axle was completely installed, under body inspections. When I finished early I helped other departments with their responsibilities. Helped pull engines, install engines, remove seats and floors, I would also go up to Final Finish and fix any mistakes made by any departments. I am not one to say," That's not my job, I did not do that, why do I have to fix someone else's mistake." The buses we refurbished were Greyhound. So the public put their trust in us to put safe, reliable Greyhounds back on the road.
SAPA Aluminum Extrusion: Elkhart, In.
Duties performed Band saw operator and production line worker as well as shipping and receiving. Stretching and cutting aluminum per specific quantity and size as well as inspecting for any product defects. You had to be detail oriented as the aluminum would bubble at times and if you are not paying close attention defects will easily get by you. This is not acceptable as our customers are paying for a high quality product. I also stacked packed, labeled orders, and loaded them to be shipped to various customers.
Forklift certified, Floor and ceiling hoists, Air jacks, brake presses, die grinders, angle grinders, all air impacts, torque wrenches, hog nose saws, industrial saws, industrial drills, 16 inch drill press as well as geared head drill press, cutting torch, sanders, power washers, box cutters, shrink wrap, pallet jacks, blue prints, micrometers, and calipers. I know how to use and operate all air tools and can easily read a tape measure. Coolant system pressure / leak tester, ETC. I do have computer literacy skills to fill and pull orders. Additionally my math skills are easily above average. My experience with all tools listed is easily above average. I will proudly go above and beyond what is expected of me. I'm customer oriented and fully understand our customer's happiness is our livelihood. I believe in doing the job right the first time. My work ethic is outstanding and I will do whatever is necessary, even if I'm asked to cut the grass. My strongest point is my eye for detail and I take tremendous pride in all my work.
