After 10 years in a difficult situation, my son and I have finally found our way out and into our own apartment. This fresh start means safety, peace, and hope for a better future together.
While I’ve done everything I can to make this move happen, I’m struggling with a few unexpected costs, including a large pet deposit, monthly pet fees, and replacing the small amount of stock I had to sell just to afford a washer and dryer.
Our cats are truly family. One has been with me for 13 years and the other for 3, and they’ve been a source of comfort during some of the hardest moments of our lives. Having them with us would help this space feel like home and bring much-needed stability as we begin this new chapter.
